PAUITerm 26.7.1
Released July 15, 2026
Added a resizable multi-pane workspace and comprehensive, project-aware command autocomplete.
What’s New
- ›Added a project-scoped workspace where agents, terminals, saved commands, and the code editor can remain visible together in up to six panes
- ›Added adaptive one-to-six-pane layouts with draggable column and row separators
- ›Added 818 offline command templates spanning common languages, frameworks, package managers, databases, infrastructure tools, and operating-system utilities
- ›Added project-specific command discovery from package.json, composer.json, Makefile, and justfile
- ›Added custom-command history suggestions ranked by frequency and recency
Improvements
- ›Opening an existing tool now focuses its current pane instead of creating a duplicate
- ›Starting, restarting, or selecting a session opens or focuses its dedicated pane while files reveal the code editor pane
- ›Command matching now understands tokens and compound shell lines that use &&, ||, semicolons, and pipes
- ›JavaScript project commands now use the package manager detected from npm, pnpm, Yarn, or Bun lockfiles
- ›Saved custom commands and matching history entries are merged into a single suggestion with clearer source labels
Bug Fixes
- ›Prevented a seventh session from starting when it could not be shown within the six-pane limit
- ›Kept pane identity stable when terminal, command, and agent sessions restart or receive a new runtime session ID
- ›Preserved earlier commands in a compound line when completing a later suggestion
- ›Backfilled stable view identifiers for sessions persisted by earlier versions
Known Issues
- ›Windows and Linux installers are still being finalized.
